Aaron Schmidt (he/him) Executive Video Editor

This is my third time working with IMT and my second time editing a video for them. I was first a member of the cast of Urinetown, then I edited the Virtual Musical Theatre Showcase last November, and now I am here editing this! Outside of theatre, I'm working in digital media production and trying to find a job as an editor somewhere. I am so excited to be a part of this phenomenal festival!

Annika is an Oakland born NYC-based queer non-binary Theatre Director, Artistic Producer, and Teaching Artist. Recently they have directed Dance Nation, La Casa de Bernarda Alba, Metamorphoses, and Fuck Off Julia; and assistant directed Mother Courage and anOTHER. Annika works to amplify and center the voices of queer artists, female artists, and artists of color by emphasizing the deconstruction of hierarchy through the reconstruction of brave spaces.
